Taking advantage of the curve in the growth rings, one could make a striking double barreled muzzleloading stock- with good strength through the wrist onto the forend wood, perfect.

The curve in the grain might be too much to match the wrist and run straight down the forend for a modern rifle stock, not sure. Would have to see overlays on it to be certain.

There appears to be enough wood in the butt section to make a splinter of the same wood as the butt of a modern 2 piece stock.

Scale (size of the blank) is difficult for me to see/visualize - I'm not a stock maker - but have made a few or more from blanks.
