Just a question of the engineer types out there regarding action strength. Not the gun itself, but the locking mechanism. All of the winchester pumps and autos have a bolt head with locking lugs and a barrel extension much like a variety of centerfire rifles. I believe that there are 4 lugs, each about 1/4" thick and about as wide What pressure levels would this type of mechanism withstand. I am not interested in using the entire shotgun in a project, just the bolt head and barrel. Yes I have the parts available. I probably think that I have more time than I actually do Cheers. Tom |
