Well I am back at it after "minor" surgery, don't ever let the doctor tell you something is minor. That gallstone kicked my butt. Anyway enough whining.
I have got the barrels fitted and am progressing along shaping the monoblock to the receiver. My chambering reamer is on its way "I think" so I should be ready soon. Still am pondering the soldering of ribs and quarter ribs. I also need to find someone that can tig my pieces in the barrels.
I made a spud and cut a nut the same size as the od of the barrels. I screwed it into the block to hold it as well as use that nut as a sacrificial piece to shape the block so I don't remove too much. I put a wrap of tape on the nut so I will know when I am getting close.
