Hello all, I have a rather nice blank that I will eventually stock a 318 Westley Richards with for myself, and I want to give "Slacum Oil" a try for the finish. I have a couple of English recipes but there are a few ingredients named in them that I’m not sure what they are. So my questions are thus: Venice Turpentine, what is it, does it have other names? Spirits of Wine, what is it, does it have other names? Spirits of Turpentine, what is it, does it have other names? Any ideas where I might find these here in Australia?
