Beautiful rifle. I'd personally skip the scope(usually) but it's a nice option to have, and when the scope is removed the mount looks to be MUCH more discreet than a Weaver base. .22 hornet is a fun round, just got into it with a 10 inch TC Contender barrel, nice to see it in a classic design, properly proportioned for the cartridge.
