Are you saying what i think or are im misunderstanding it completely. I make sure none of my bolts forends are even touching the barrel to get decent accuracy, mostly due to humidity but also if shooting series. My worst case did spread the bullets some 35cm at 100m from shot one to shot four.
But you are right in a hunting situation it wont mather, usually there are only one or two shots fired, but its good to know it will hold the groups if more round were needed.
