The problem as i see it is that the more you need to bend the barrels (out if an old set of shot tubes are cut, and in if a new is built with parallell holes) the worse will it behave when getting warm. If you could set them at the right angle from the start to regulate it would be awsome, but that newer happens but as close as possible is what i would try to do.
