Got the extractor cut and fitted as well as a new cross bolt. The extractor is made from tool steel and drill rod shaft. Hope this will be enough, used silver braze to hold everything together. The original cross bolt seemed a little short where it fit into the off side of the action so I made another one just a tad longer I am not sure it was really needed but it was something to do while waiting. It too was made from drill rod. Every thing now is waiting on barrels that are still 4 weeks away. geeze I thought everybody stocked .303 barrels. I am going to need a new stock altho the original is servicable if this works out new wood will be in order. Finding someone that can duplcate the original had been somewhat of a problem but its a ways away so just keep looking.
