I know a gunsmith in Colorado (David Yale) that made a 1920's era Rigby best sidelock ejector 12 bore into a large calibre double and according to him his client has taken much game with it.

Also I would contact Ken Owen and ask what he recommends before pursuing an action.

I certainly would not entertain that. The 2 left hand actions are 450/400 + Rising Bite Rifle actions. The right hand one is a 12 G. It may stand up as the Rising Bite is probably the strongest action made, however, the 12G frame was never intended to dissipate the amount of energy produced by a .600NE.
