VICTOR SARASQUETA .458 Double Rifle

Hi all,
I just picked up a VICTOR SARASQUETA .458 double rifle. It came to me in pieces at a very attractive price. It is a sidelock gun with all the features you could ask for; articulating front trigger, ejectors, flip up moon sight, three leaf express rear, fully engraved and so on. It looks as though someone took it apart to refinish it and couldn't get it back together. The bores look great and all of the parts look well made and fitted. I seem to only be missing one small screw. I put the locks together and installed them in the action and the barrels lock up perfectly tight and the locks function, recock and reset the safety. My issue is that I need a diagram of a sidelock action. There are two heavy leaf V springs out of it, one I can see returns the top lever to center. The other I am not sure of the function of.
Can anyone help with this? Have a diagram or a good description of where things should be? It appears to have selective ejectors though they don't seem to be working properly. They function as extractors and both come up at once even if just one barrel is fired.
The butt stock has a large chip missing above the right lock. Does anyone know of a replacement? The original stock is stripped and needs a refinish but is solid everywhere though missing this chip. I doubt this will ever be a pretty rifle again, but I would be very happy if it turned out to be a good hunting "beater" double for use here in the Yukon to save my good doubles hard service.
Thanks for any help.
Yukon.
