Re: .303 British Double Rifle Project

Thank you both for the kudos. I came into possession of a very fine 12 bore side by side by Neumann Brothers, Liege, about 20 years ago. One barrel was burst. I bought a pair of 12 gauge rifled blanks from Hastings, turned them to profile, sleeved them into the monoblock, and built my first double rifle. Because it was in the same original chambering, there was no need to worry about pressures and the job was a great learning experience. The gun was regulated with the Lightfield 1 1/4 ounce sabot slug and will put a left/right into virtually the same hole at 50 yards. This gun has killed 10 deer so far, with great authority too.
