I was lucky enough to get one of the 45-70 Rifles that Remington imported from Russia, & was thinking my "lil double" needed a big brother...

my local builder / friend & mentor got me interested in 58 caliber, & I fell into the 577 Snider... I picked up a couple cases, & ordered a set of dies...

my builder buddy is a retired tool & die guy, & amaizes me every time we get together...

... so I'm thinking a 577 Snider double rifle... my buddy came up with a way of regulating the barrels using a custom set of barrel liners & building the gun on a strong 12 ga side by side...

I'd be more than happy to listen to any suggestions you guys have & give more details on his suggested barrel regulation system ( it's not rocket science, so you guys might already be doing it that way ??? )

I'd start off by asking for suggestions to a poor man for actions / guns to use to start with ???
