I'm all for recoil reduction as far as pads and jackets are concerned. Some years ago nerve damamge in my shooting shoulder forced me to try the muzzle brake route. That was, for me, a mistake. Thankfully my condition has improved so I don't need it, but even when I did I rarely shot the braked gun due to the noise. I found it totally uncomfortable, tho the kick was more or less eliminated. No more brakes! My 46 in 9.3x57 weighs 6 lbs. My CZ550 9.3x62, about 8.5 and my HVA 146 about 9.5. So they are all over the map. Not sure why the .35's are said to be mean ones. |
