With those proof loads,the gun was just the slightest bit draggy on first opening. That's too hot by far in a double rifle. With the regulation load, with the 174 grain Hornady RN, at 2200 FPS, the action would fall open when the toplever was pushed to the right, and the spent brass just fell out into my hand.
