Once you have tinned everything. For the final assembely cut some scrap 1" x1" or 2 x 1 mild steel bar and clamp them alongside the underlugs. By making the mass of steel very much greater it will hold the heat more evenly and for a lot longer giving you more time for threading in the barrels lineing up etc.
