Tarawa, the thing I'd like to see is a reasonably priced full band front sight that could be installed by a kitchen table operator like me.

Something like the Ruger front sight is what I'm referring to.

I like a front sight on a rifle even if there is no open rear, as a receiver sight can prezeroed and packed with the gun for a spare if the scope is damaged.
