I felt that by straightening out the walls of this cartridge, it would be more able to grip the chamber walls and not exert so much pressure back against the standing breech. The large head would then tend to spread it out over a larger area creating less pressure per square inch. Changing the shoulder angle would mainly help to stop any brass flowage into the neck area which probably wouldn't be any problem anyway. Bob H.
