The rifle was made by the Rifle Ranch in Prescott, AZ. From what I have read, it was owned by a man named Jim Wilkinson. The stock was made by Bob Hooper out of IL. I purchased the rifle because it was built on a pre-64 magnum length Model 70 action and chambered in .375 H&H. While I don't hunt, I am interested in classic walnut stocked hunting rifles and hunting in general. The rifle is very nicely put together. There is nothing functionally wrong with the rifle, it functions perfectly and is very accurate. I just wish it were in better shape. If I had to guess its value, I would place it in the $2,000-3,000 range, but I am not absolutely certain. I have no gunsmithing/woodworking skills, so I would have to hire somebody to do the job.
