These photos are of a Sauer 16ga. boxlock that Dad converted to 30-40 Krag. He did the work about 1990 so I don't have any pictures of the actual work as I'm the picture nut. He threaded two new Springfield 03 bbls. that he had stashed back for years into the monoblock. He copied the stock of a S&K double he has that had at one time been a two bbl. set as it had a set trigger. but the other bbls. weren't with it when he got the gun. Just as fate would have it, a couple of years ago a friend of his about 70 miles away found a set of Sauer 16ga. bbls that Dad was able to fit to his action. He has never got around to filing the sights as he always shoots it with the scope or the peep sight.
