That is correct - I really didn't think it that way.

I merely thought my own style of handling doubles. If my first shot seems to get the job done, I have the habit to unconsciously put the safety back on right after the shot. Therefore I felt the described function to be a bit peculiar charater in a firearm.

I know, however, that in DG hunting my habit would be far from ideal. Unfortunatedly I do not have any experience in that department.
