Wow, what a nice looking Lancaster and in a caliber that I don't have. I like those early Lancaster hammers. I have a 360, 450/400, & 450 but no 500s. Unfortunately, your rifle isn't in the USA.
Probably the most important question is how does it shoot? Do you have a range report? If you get the combination (bullet size & powder charge) right, they are very accurate rifles.
Unfortunately the new firearm legislation in NSW is forcing me to let go of some rifles to remain compliant. I wanted to keep this Lancaster to see how it performed with a good paper patched bullet combination, but sadly will never get the chance.
