Thank you. Part of my concern is that using 9.3x72r ammo, there would be an added -.4" of freebore which should impact accuracy. particularly with cast bullets which I normally use.

Apparently the previous owner shot it as a 9.3x72r or at least claimed that is what the rifle was. Hopefully I can get the correct brass and dies.

I will try 9.3x72r ammo but will keep looking for the longer brass.

BTW, the 9.3x82r has a 3 1/4" case. Hmmm, similar to the old British BPW cartridges but in 9.3mm.
