The 416 Taylor headspace is on the belt, not the shoulder. The first shot using a 338 WM case will fire-form the shoulder to the correct length to fit the chamber of the rifle. Its no big deal. I've fire-formed dozens of different belted wildcats like this that headspace on the belt.
