I almost had an opportunity to shoot Curly's Thompson, but the range was closed that day due to Hurricane Florence coming into the area in a couple days. We were all packed up to shoot and we were stopped at the gate. The model 1921 was full roar at something over 900 rounds per minute. The 1921 was slowed down for the models of 1928 & later.
