Yes indeed. For a mould, if you know the diameter you need, Ball Moulds in England, formerly Tanner Moulds until Jeff passed, is now run by his son. I have 4 of these in various sizes, sorry no 10 bore. My largest is .740".
To snip the sprue, they recommend side cutters. I found wire strippers with the little cut touts to be best. Hold the ball in finger and thumb, grab the sprue's shank at the ball's surface, squeeze the handles to cut in about 1/2 way, then turn/twist the ball. The sprue comes off leaving an almost perfectly round ball, with something a tiny little tit that can simply be tapped down using the tripper's jaws.
The resulting ball has no sprue and can be loaded any way you want, nothing to align up or down.
