on page 192 of jonathan kirton's monograph, Daniel Fraser, Gun and Rifle maker of Edinburgh, Scotland, there are images of two models of Fraser's provisional patent 28330 adjustable bolt mounted aperture sight. The middle example, no. 17, is owned by me. It has a missing windage adjustment screw which is pictured in the example above it, #5. It could be replicated. Originally this was mounted on the cocking piece of a Lee Speed rifle made by Andrews of Edinburgh which i bought about 25 years ago. These are rare; mine may be the only physical example still in existence. price-$500 US plus shipping send for images to dt5745@telus.net thanks don |
