What I call a “Rockabilly” custom which is very usable as it is as an example of an American custom falling block or a basis of a full return as a proper English sporting rifle.

Mauser Oberndorf TypeB 9X57 SN81332 circa 1914 (all #s match)
Noris 4X rail mount scope.
23” barrel. DST. Great bore.
Has been refinished a some point but the stamps are very clean and crisp. The wood is a bit shiny and the checkering looks like it was refreshed.
Overall a really good Oberndorf for the man wanting an example which won’t break the bank and in a very usable chambering for North American hunting - thinking pigs and deer.
