I had an opportunity to take the Remington Lee out to the range yesterday. I had loaded up a ladders of IMR 4895 and Varget using Sierra 180 gr boattail spitzers. I also ran a couple loads of 180 gr lead flat-point and hollow-point using IMR 3031.
The hollow-point loads show some promise. I will do more work with this later.
The IMR 4895 loads were OK but not fantastic. The 36 gr load of Varget with jacketed bullets looks like a winner. This 4 shot group was done at 50 yards. Darn flier! I didn't take my chrono along. I'll need to reload more and hit the range again.
