I own a military Mauser as well as a Simson Suhl pre-war commercial model. The Mauser is a wonderful action that withstood the test of time. This Remington Lee is a very smooth action that is very nice. Personally, I think that The Steyr action is the best in regards to "feel". I don't want to upset any Mauser afficionados .... just my interpretation.
