The side play in the cocking piece seems to vary according to the rifle, I've found. I made up a test fixture on one of mine and found it centered on the same spot each time. Good enough for a bolt-mounted ring sight, anyway. It certainly allows for an excellent sight radius. Thanks also, TexasJohn. Yours is the only good example of the Lyman set-up I've seen so far. |
