I realy love the M92/93/95 Mannlicher rifle and learn they were made also into harpoon guns.
it seem the old 19.century jarmann blackpowder rifle became finally scarce in the kongsberg factory after ww2. kongsberg used first left over second line rifles from the wehrmacht like the hungarian M98/40 and dutch M 95 for made the M 48

got a new heavy barrel for shooting the old 11,15x61R carridge, probably only single shot than

after the exotic actions were used up they take the common 98 k action and called it M 52

in all there were made 3000 M 48 and M52 But I would say that not more than 500 M 48 were made - rare they are today
