Trying to remember something I "may" have read 30 years ago about target shooting from 60 years before that. Holy crap, am I getting to to be the old guy in the room? May have read back in the 90's, that back in the 30's match shooters were trying achieve as close to dead square 90 degree crown as was possible. They carefully and meticulously squared the muzzle and deburred the edge of the rifling in their quest for perfection. All these years and I finally figured out the only real flaw in some of these fabulous target guns is from attaching a human to the trigger. Say what you want about the Mauser action, but in my opinionated opinion it is an outstanding action one of the best ever made. What a wonderful gun you have shown us TIMBERMAN. Thank you. |
