I bought a 6x42 Zeiss Diatal for the S&L because its still a good scope for many hunting situations and it looks period on this rifle.
got a like new scope with the old claw mount parts on the the rail.

how many time have we read this question "is it possible to buy claw mount feets for my old german gun?" no, its not but when I look how much modification was necessary to fit the 1970s german claw mount feets into the early 1950s Schultz&Larsen made bases I renounce my faith.

the rear feet fits! and in this postion its the right distance between eye and scope too.
dont believe it will ever happen again and the front feet also dont fit. not only in height but the claws dont having the right dimensions.
no problem it all the claws will be cut of, a little steel block will be welded under the front feet and new claws then milling and filing from this.
