Rule303 I agree! The early Remington 30 stock was similar . This was improved along with a nicer bolt handle and cock on opening when the 30 Express evolved into the Remington 720 . I personally think the early British Express style stock was the finest design ever made for a hunting rifle . Fitz himself restocked his Remington 30 to this design offered by Griffin and Howe
