Back in the 70's, when I was doing business with Krieghoff, Heinz contacted me about buying one from a man who had written the company looking for parts to repair the one he had. They of course had no parts (the factory was demolished by the Russians immediately after the War) but were interested in acquiring the rifle. I managed to close the deal and sent the rifle on to Germany. I never heard what became of it or whether they managed to fabricate the parts to make it functional again. It was listed for sale in the 1939 Stoeger catalog.
