Well as you say, I will only clean these Krag, just try and bring it back to life and still keep it`s look and the feel I have for it.
The action I also got is going to be made to a hunting gun, but with the look of a true Krag.
Maybe, try and fir it with a scope, a old type and mount if I can get it, a original will/is the dream.

It is really nice to have these gun, if it was able to talk, woow.
I am really starting to like it.
