Unfortunately, the photos do not do the rifle justice. There are many features I would like to see in more detail.
1. The gas system has been radically altered, and now resembles that of a M14. That is not a trivial exercise and speaks volumes regarding the skill of the gunmaker.
2. The receiver has been reshaped and the Garand sight removed. One wonders why?
3. There appears to be a sheet metal cover or awning over the operating rod. There appears to be a matching sheet metal feature on the left side, opposite the operating rod. It appears that this is a single piece of steel wrapping under the barrel, captivated between the stock and metal. Apparently the use of a barrel mounted sight precludes the use of a normal hand guard.
4. Magazine altered to 5 round "clip". Skill of a high order required!
