505T thanks for the reply. I have carried SMLE's and SLR-L1A1 with the box magazine hanging out the bottom and just wrap the first 3 finger & thumb around the stock as normal with the last finger on the mad. Just didn't know if that would work with the Krag.

Some of the Shultz and Larsen rifle blokes might like to argue with you over the slickest bolt. I wont as have shot a S&L but not the Krag.
