I would not shoot that scope, myself. A heavy springer will usually destroy just about any normal 'modern' scope due to the direction of the recoil being opposite to the scopes internal construction reinforcement. RF and CF scopes are not normally built to take the opposite direction of recoil that a springer produces. Perhaps you are right and that the scope will not be harmed - perhaps. That is was made for the 8x57 Mauser or any other CF rifle or ctg. - .338 Lapua, .5 Browning or whatever makes no different, btw. Since it is fairly low powered, perhaps no problems will surface, hope not. 10mm is quite low for penetration. |
