A FINE AND UNUSED PAIR OF SMITH-ENGRAVED 16-BORE ROUNDED-BAR SINGLE-TRIGGER OVER AND UNDER SIDELOCK EJECTORS, serial no. 20141 / 2, 28in. ribless nitro barrels, scroll engraved at the breech ends and gold-inlaid '1' and '2', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/2 choke in all, hold-open toplevers, automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, non-selective single-triggers, rolled-edge triggerguards, cocking-indicators, rounded bars, fully engraved in relief with best acanthus foliage on a matt background, the lockplates carved and gold-inlaid with a single English rose and gold-inlaid with the makers name in a scrolled ribbon, bright finish overall, 14 1/2in. highly-figured stocks with Prince of Wales grips, with carved steel pistolgrip-caps, gold escutcheons engraved 'E.P.C.', weight 6lb. 3oz., in their blue velvet lined lightweight leather motor case.
