some tools you don't find any day
a complete set from sweden to reload the 8x58RD for the swedish rolling block

what I never see before in this time are resizing dies made from steel. common were only tool to resize the case mouth
a Sauer&Sohn case mouth and bullet setting tool - have seen this in old catalogs but can't remember it for sale sometimes

Amazing pieces Lancaster!
I can't see how those moulds would be doing a good session, you'd have to have good gloves at least to not burn yourself!
How did the Berdan deprimer/primer work Tinker?

Great pictures of vintahe reloading tools. Thanks fpr showing.
93x64: Many of the 19th century molds required the handles be wrapped in cord and the user wear gloves. My 36 cal Colt 1851 mold has short steel handles. My BPE rifle molds are brass or bronze and rrquire welding gloves to use.
The berdn decapper has a pin that is driven into the primer at an angle and when open, pops out the spent primer. Obviously, you don't want to use one with a live primer.

I use a seating die threaded into the press upside down to hold the case head-up and with a hand held small chisel tip punch and a light mallet I preform the same task

I've used a hydraulic set up before, messy but it works.

Berdan primers are apparently not so easy to find these days.
What size Berdan primers do you need?

That's quite a mould. 1262.8gr. = 82 grams @ 15.4gr. per gram.
Difficult to hold when hot enough to cast good bullets.

there must have been some kind of handle for this monster. if it realy is a bullet mould.
