Is it just me, or is there someting about British rifles?

Some things the Brits just did right!

Thought I would take a "family portrait" of sorts:
Brit singles and doubles...new additions always welcome.

From top:
Manton 22HP Double
.461 Gibbs Farquharson
'69 Westley Richards 500/450
.310 Greener Rook rifle
Holland & Holland Rook rifle
W.W. Greener .360 No.2 Double
Martini actioned .303 (maker unknown)
1897 Westley Richards

Brilliant Huvius,

Great family snap.

They seem to be holding their age well too.

Timeless classics.

Nice

Thanks for the compliments guys.

BTW, does anybody out there have a '69 or '71 Westley with an original forend I could get measurements from?

Huvius,

Could you please correct that - even if only cosmetic - flaw and put the cocking indicator of the .303 Martini in correctly? It looks so.... lopsided now.

Huvius,

The British built them. People like you and other collectors here preserve and care for them. You guys deserve equal congratulations.

Very good hunting and thanks for sharing!
