Re: Help Me With Loding 10X47R

I have a double rifle in 11.15x47R which uses a 0.439" bullet. For brass, I mainly used 9.5x47R brass fireformed in my rifle.

I have also used 45/70 brass run thru a shortened 43 Mauser sizing die and with the head thicken to that of a Mauser A head. That brass is trimmed to 47mm and then fireformed in my rifle.

I have loaded the case with a case load of Triple 7 and either a PP 250 gr 0.430" bullet paperpateched to 0.439" and also a 386 gr 0.439" bullet. I have also used 22 gr of 4198 to push either bullet.

Now with your 10x47R, I would think that a load of 20 gr of 4198 and a 220 hard cast bullet would work.
