Loaded up some of the 400gr LBT LFN last nite, 42-46gr AA5744, F215. This time I will remember to take the screens for the chrono with me. Ran the 320WFN up to 52gr AA5744 w/cci250, ended up about 6in left and high on that exercise from where the 48gr load shot, it was still shooting groups over there, not great ones, but, groups that would kill whatever I wanted at 100yds.No pressure signs, once again with some semi-breechseaters. I reloaded some more with 48gr and will test them again today. After I go get a belt cartridge holder and search for a new decap rod for the sizer. Did a real number on it. Hornady brass has a seriously convex base in it around the flash hole, can be hard on the pins and stem. I've had 4 dud rounds so far, all were charged with the CCI250.All the primers still had unused primer compound in them. Can't blame bullet or sizing lube, powder was clean when it was poured out again, reused it. |
