The RCBS lube-sizer is really no easier to use. They both use the same dies, and general makeup and manipulation. I have 2 lyman sizers, a really old yellow sizer and the newer 450 model as well as a couple RCBS. All of them are set up for different calibres and all have lubed and sized many thousands of bullets, especially the .44 mag Lyman 450 set-tup and the .38/.357 on the old Lyman sizer. An RCBS set
Getting the depth right is important & not always easy, as you found. Bear with it, you'll get there and it will become easy.
