I use just a light touch of a sliver of beeswax. First thing I do with aluminum (actually ALL moulds- aluminum, brass or iron) is to clean them with a toothbrush, soap or degreaser and very hot water, then dry them and spray with a mould prep by Rapine, or a bullet coating moly like MS Moly. Birchwood Casey's also has one.

This prevents any lead sticking, helps to lubricate and helps bullets or round balls to drop easily from the mould.

Good looking bullet.
