Huvius, they measure .318" over the hard blue lube, so the real diameter is probably .316". They are also very hard and shatter on steel plates. They have no heel, so to get them into my tight chamber, I'm having to FLS the loaded round, with the brass I'm using. Dave is using Bertram brass and his hand loads fit my chamber with the Hawksbury projectile. My brass has no head stamp at all, so I don't know who made it, but it must be thicker than Bertram's brass. I'm hoping that the 32-20 bullet (.314") will obturate enough to seal the bore and work, if not, I'll have to get one of CBE's moulds. I'll find out this afternoon if they will shoot. Tony |
