I personally have taken dozens of deer, pronghorn and elk with my bow.. when it comes to elk sized game, the only time I have had an issue is when I ONCE used a mechanical .. horrible penetration..had to follow it around for an entire day before I got another arrow into him .. never used one since on elk.. do use them on pronghorn..work great on them..
