A BIG Texan 'Lad' we guided on a moose hunt some years back, had on order, 175 pound limbs for his Black Widow recurve. His goal was a Cape Buffalo, with 1,000grain arrows - which I seem to recall were minimum for that animal. I do not know which country that was in. Seems to me the arrows used (at that time) were Easton 2317's full of salt and having a 2 blade 'German' broadhead. That is, only 2 edges. I do not remember the broad head make, but did see many of them in camp over a few years there. Terrific cutters, strong and razor-blade sharp out of the package. |
