Ishi, Saxton Pope's ward & patient - also befriended by Art Young (Pope and Young), Ishi was the last surviving member of his tribe. when discovered, he was stone age (no metal) in 1920 California. Ishi astounded Art and Young by shooting off the right side of his bow. Ishi's points were obsidian, napped by himself. He was amazed at the steel points Pope and Young used when hunting. I've forgotten his tribe's name - damn. I have this information in a book, somewhere.
